Finding us in Matale
Matale is in the Central Province of Sri Lanka, about 25 km north of Kandy. It's easily reached by road from Colombo, Kandy, or the airport — and your host can arrange a pickup if needed.
Bandaranaike International Airport (Colombo)
Approximately 3–3.5 hours by road via the Kandy Expressway. Private transfer recommended. Your host can arrange your pickup with a trusted driver.
Kandy
25 km north on the A9 road. About 45 minutes by car or tuk-tuk. Regular buses also run between Kandy and Matale.
Sigiriya / Dambulla
75 km south. Approximately 1.5–2 hours by road. A scenic drive through the Cultural Triangle.
Colombo
Approximately 2.5–3 hours via the Kandy Expressway. Private car can be arranged or take intercity bus to Kandy, then onward to Matale.
